Mcquarrie Mondays #2

Ralph McQuarrie’s influence can still be found in the most recent contributions to the Star Wars universe. Take for example this photo, you see the big character standing at the center? That was an original concept design for our favorite Wookie, Chewbacca. Of course, this wasn’t the final design Lucas went with but that doesn’t mean we would never see this design re-emerge. Star Wars Rebels which premiered in October of 2014, brought back the familiar face in the form of a character called Zeb. Garazeb Orrelios is a part of the show’s main team and is one of the only remaining Lasat in the Galaxy far far away.
